FINE ART PRINTS

Picture
We offer our printing service to customers, photographers, and artists who need the highest quality for display, presentation, and reproduction of their work with guaranteed durability.
  • We print on paper and cotton fabrics 100% acid-free, and RC photo papers. We use Epson, Hahnemühle and Kronaline supports.
  • We use the Epson Stylus Pro 9900 printer with ten channels head. These printers use eleven Epson UltraChrome HDR inks including the new orange and green inks, obtaining results of unsurpassable quality in Giclée on Fine Art supports.
  • We print with Epson UltraChrome HDR inks which offer a star of the art print quality, with a wider range of colors and greater gradation because of the addition of orange and green inks combined with the new head MicroPiezo ™ TFP (Thin Film Piezo) head and VIP technologies.
  • The colors of the prints will not change under different lighting conditions. This problem, called color inconsistency, has been eliminated by Epson through a carefully developed formula, and three types of black ink to ensure a uniform color balance regardless of the light source under which the print is observed. The accuracy of color control ensures that there are practically no color differences and achieves ultrasoft and well-defined color gradations, even for high levels of saturation
  • The encapsulation of the ink drops of Epson UltraChrome HDR resin in micro-particles of pigmented inks, offers exceptional resistance to light, water and gasses such as ozone. Based on a research by Epson and  Wilhelm Institute Laboratories Inc*, UltraChrome HDR technology, in combination with specific papers, ensure printings longevity exceeding 100 years before any appreciable deterioration begins to occur in the color.
*Wilhelm Laboratories Inc. is the leader in research on care and preservation of Fine Art prints, photographs, and films.

Fine Art Prints

The term “Fine Art” is applied to photography to those printed photos using the Giclée (InkJet) method, considered the best technique to reproduce works of art. Digital copies obtained by this process have, in the art world, the same recognition as lithographs, serigraphs and other engravings wanting to be considered as art works. A “Fine Art” copy must meet two requirements: durability and to be the most faithful reproduction of the original. By using pigmented printing and supports free of acids, with a neutral PH and high resistance to the effect of light, this type of copies guarantee a minimum durability of 80 years, provided they avoid large exposures to direct sunlight and high humidity.
